The coffee maker is very nice, when it works. It will stop working without warning. Let it sit for a couple of hours, and maybe it will work again. Or maybe not. I bought a French Press as a backup solution because the unit is soooo unreliable. Oh and did I mention the leaking? Yes, it leaks water all the time. Check out underneath and you will see. It's a little disconcerting because at the beginning of the end, you could sometimes unplug/plug the pot back in and it would work again, and that kind of electrical problem is scary. But even scarier? I'm probably going to buy a third, and take my chances again. They want to charge you $10.00 shipping and $14.00 for replacement of an item that they know is faulty. Dont fall in love with that DCC-2000 to fast.
